It looks that way, but I have examined them and they are pressed in as far as they can go.

Your uprights are the older ones H0139. You can only use one shim on the outside with them. The diagram is for H0139B uprights. Good catch Scott.

The arm that the steering link rod attaches to only has one vertical brace on the top of 139-b. 139,158 have two one top and a smaller one on the bottom. Funny that you have the amendum and you have the extra washers but you got the 139 up-rites?

Is this another typical problem you run into? They forgot to machine the middle screw hole in the left-front bulkhead.

What are the exact differences between the MRX-4 and the MRX-4R?

BTW:

I finally finished my MRX4-R. I have had this car sitting since the kit came to the USA. Just completed it and ran it last weekend. I will race it for the first time at the Paris memorial next week.

Yes last kit I sold had the same problem. Give them (Mugen) a call they'll make it rite...if you dont have drill bits. Gives ya that serpent hand fitting feeling yuck!

Wassup Pooh? Selling the MTX4 to concentrate on my R for a while. It was poppin in Cinci, but I didn't have enough practice with it this season to make the show. That won't happen next year. Off to Toys for Tizzle in December...then WinNats. Some 1/12th scale carpet will keep me sharp in the meantime.

For someone who dosn't own a mugen, you sure have a lot to say. I've learned a lot from reading up on all the different boards. The one thing I wouldn't do is make fun of someone or company because they had a little problem with their kit and came to seek help on these forums

I don't know how that happened. I got a messed up bulkhead, and a set of old uprights in a new kit bag. Everything else seems to be correct.
