In all honesty im amusing my self by keeping this going, he can ask questions all he likes now. Let him waste his time.

dont know what you have for a "toy" but i have a scale racing model...

rc racing is not geared to "kids" its a competition...scale racing is way less expensive and harder...you cant feel anything...all you can do is watch and assume what the car or truck will do next...

To an extent...
"Kids" are still the next generation of rc-racers, and as such many clubs do cater for them.
