Me and a buddy are planning to race tomorrow. But we are heading from Scranton... A 2.5 hour drive. When will the earliest weather update happen in the am posted here? We leave around 6 am. Or would calling be better?

It didnt rain overnight (which according to the weather channel it did continuously), so thats a good sign. The accuweather website (which has been the most accurate for our area) says a slight chance of a small shower at noon (which we could totally handle) and rain constantly from 6pm-midnight for a total of 1" of rain for the day. I wish I knew for sure. I would hate to see you guys travel 2.5 hrs just to get skunked, especially when there are some of the site showing rain for the entire day (it even said it is already raining here, which it isn't). I appreciate your interest but I cant promise anything. I'd like to race but its completely in mother natures hands. Our tracks handles the rain very well. Its a crap shoot because the doppler is splotted accross the entire east coast for today and a change in wind pattern could really put a damper on things literally. So tenatively... WE ARE RACING.I know I said alot of crap, but I just wanted you all to make an informed decision. Any changes and I will update asap.

Still no rain. According to noaa radar, it is well north of us. Don't let the rain keep you away. How many times have they had showers everywhere around us and we didn't get any? Or we have a quick shower and it makes the track even better. This is a points race, also. Hope you can get here soon.

Had a good time today! Track was alot different than what i am used to up at thumptown! Hope to get down again before the season ends!

Thanks Andrew... we appreciate you racing with us... and thanks to everyone that came out today... it means alot to get the support.

We do race 4WD SC and have only had 1 race this year with 4wd 10th scale buggies... Some guys have them but dont enter them. bring me 3 we will create a class... or I can run you with another comparible vehicle.

This track & hobby shop are awesome !!

If you live anywhere close to PA or Maryland this is a must visit track... you wont find a layout or jumps like this anywhere else around here
