You need at the least a hard spring on the clutch.

I just got a FT gt2 with a crf.12, what plugs are best for this mill? I also noticed it has .21 off road air filter setup, is that ok, better, not good? I will be running a fairly small track.....should I get the ORI88002 pipeset? also where can I get it in the USA? thanks for any help as I am new to rc at this level, its my first non pull start mill, I have an TTR starter box
heres my ride, should be fast im hoping

Yes, I think it will run better with an Orion pipe set, but as this engine actually is for on-road racing, I think there is no (user) experience with this pipe set...
So maybe it will run ok....
The only problem I think, might be your clutch.
It is not visible from the picture, but I guess the clutch is a standard centrifugal 3 or 4 shoe type, which is not adjustable, can you clarify this?

The air filter is fine, it's better to have a bigger one than a smaller one^^
You can try your pipe, it should work ok.
I recommend using regular CRF plugs, they are super durable too.
I have been testing with a 2wd truck and the .12 CRF engine, ran pretty good, nice top speed, definitely way more punch than the original .18 engine. Depending on the grip level you might want to use a stiffer clutch setup and/or different gearing.
