Just back from the Euro B's. At least one CRF wasp in the A main i knew about built and tuned by Adrien Bertin. The engine looked good but the grip roll was bad so no chance to shine

Thanks to Adrien for the new Conical monifold and the new carb restrictor, it made a real difference to the low end power

Cheers

120 deg C is 248 deg F. I run my CRF around 270 deg F or 132 deg C and find this the best operating temp. At 285 it starts to fade off but no damage is done.

At the Euros I started mine in the pits 7 mins before i went on the track and it sat ideling without missing a beat. 2 blasts to full revs and it was on song from the word go.

I drove 5min50sec before refueling with my CRF 2007.. and temp was around 125C and HSN is 2.5 turns out..

I really like my CRF 2007.. if gearing is correct you're at the tail of fast 1/8's

Nano, two of my friends burnt plugs and a small wire particle scratch piston and liner.. They were using orion CRF medium 6 plugs. do you have any ideas about it? I know they don't drive with so high temp's..

I'm also back from the ECB and I was in the semi.
Engine was crazy fast after Adrien gave me the new pipe and the venturi. From that moment the power was very linear and easy to drive.
It's sad that my tire set was very bad and my pit man forgot to refuel one time.
Mark had the problem that he had traction roll in every corner in the final. I spoke to Adrien and he didn't have a clue why. In the semi all was good.

I watched your final and the engine was flying. Shame about the pitstop. What were the needle settings after fitting the new manifold and venturi?

Cheers

Team Orion has in all the new engine CRF parts, except for the CNC back plate. As of last week, it wasn't available yet.

Well, I couldn't say
Adrien Bertin tuned our engine. But he hadn't to change the setting after installing the new venturi.
Tuning after the new manifold is not a good fact because at the same time he build a new clutch for us

PS: Well the pitstop was not the problem, the problem were the tires! After about 10 minutes I had no grip in the front and my medium time went from medium 15sec to medium 16sec

Installing the option parts will not throw of the tune, once you have the engine tuned right with the original stuff, you will always be very close to that point.
As I said before, the LSN and spray nozzle we basically never move from the factory position.

Instead of running the o.s. modded h/s needle just use the orion h/s needle the holes are big enough..

Do you have the updated high speed needle..
If so that is what I am running, it just seems you can lean the top more with the orion high speed needle..but as far as performance how do you like the carb..
