Default CDN Nationals

Just to clear up any confusion, the Canadian Gas Nationals is open to all our U.S. friends, not just Canadians.

Come on up to Hamilton Ontario. We had a really great time last year and lots of fun, and good racing too!

I was quite lonely last year being the sole USA rep. for the Canadian Gas Nats. I did my best, but I'm not sure I did us proud Come on out and block for me this year

You folks south of the border are certainly welcome to attend the Canadian Nationals event. In fact we plan to invite the 4 or 5 of the fastest Canadian and U.S. drivers in attendance out to a short sprint race on Saturday afternoon following qualifying. The Great Canadian Bean Co. will be sponsoring this shootout with a very nice prize for the winner. Perhaps a high quality wrist watch or something similar that's got some class.

Who's up for the challenge, eh?

Yes, I attended last years Canadian Nationals (another US guy) and had a Great time on a really cool track. Some banked corners, elevation changes, a Monkey Screaming sweeper onto the back stretch, normal traction and very little tire wear. There use to be some nice video of the main events on the Ont. club web site.

The Canadian Nationals is at the top of my list for out of town races to attend in 007.

Hey Corey
you are thinking of the Can-Am race, at the Canadian Nationals last year we had yourself, Ted Hammer, Dennis Richey, Mark Rodney and Ray Juhl all from the US. I hope they can all make it back again for 2007 and bring a few freinds with them as well.

Tom Firsching from New York was there as well and was flying in the A with his DELTA. Tom is a Cleveland US Indoor Nationals Champ and works for CRC.

Starting this Tuesday I think, you need a passport to fly from Canada to the US and I imagine US to Canada. You can still drive across the border without a passport, but that requirement is coming not sure when. Best bet is to apply for passport now to safe for July. It makes crossing a whole lot easier.
