I still have dogbones- as long as you have foam or fuel tube in the outdrives to keep them spaced right.I have been racing like this for a month now(13.5/17.5) and no prob.YET.I do however have an issue w/the tub s chassis and have gone graphite.As for setup- 40 front 35 rear oils and stock springs.heck I still have a diff in front on asphalt.

Does anybody know what the stock "s" front suspension mount is. I want to add some sweep but dont know what it is at now. It wont be long before this thing is more "TC' than "S" Oh well, i alays did like to do the hop up thing.

For those of you running the s have you tried running the larger 2mm spacer in front of the rear axel to make for a longer wheelbase?Right now i have the smaller 5mm one in the front and was wondering if i swapped them it would give me more rear end grip and not loop out as much when harder on the throttle around corners.

Anybody else having problems getting the motor guard on with brushless motors with the sensor wire at the bottom? Trinity, Orion etc??? I dont really want to hack up the guard.

Ummm i aint got one any more, but how about trying to turn the motor so the sensor connection is at the top?

Ok maybe not, personally when i had the tub chassis i never ran the guard though. But thats probably because i was too lazy

On the guard-
You just have to shave it alittle- when I ran the tub I dremel'd it for clearance-with no issues.better than no guard as I think it strengthens the chassis. JMHO

Has any one had a problem with the Cyclone burning up wheel bearing? can't seem to figure it out. I've burned up the right front and the left rear????

The metal shielded bearings are good when new, but can die easily once grit gets into them.

You can actually pull the shields off and clean and re-oil them, but once they get crunchie i find they are gone.

Ive never ran the motor guard dude, shaves a little weight off as well
