Benefiit of One-Way Front Drive in 4WD Electric Buggy
What is the benefit of One-Way front drive in electric buggy, competitive X-5 and XX-4/XXX-4 mostly use One-way front drive, winning BJ4 also use front one-way?

The one way gives you better turn in and 2wd rear brakin to help rotate in the corners.

basically alot more corner speed with 2wd braking

yep, thanks,
another, is that also about affecting car behaviour flying big jump?
I mean this would make car more flatter on air because front wheel doesn't decelerate as rear wheel (off throttle on air.. )

i have found that my car tends to fly nose down more but i also think that the oneway has changed how i approach jumps.

using a front one way (as opposed to centre) the front will also pull the car out of corners quicker.
You dont have as much control in the air though since you cant tip the nose as easily down as you only brake the rear wheels

Along with the other post. It really depends on the track layout. If you have a couple of tight 180's, the rear braking can swing around the corner well. But if it is all sweepers....... May not be faster on the clock. I never noticed a difference in the air, but I was probably driving it different

now I'm using one-way and yes it does give more benefit (easy turn in, throw rear end with braking..) on loose soil track with some u turn, and on other hardpacked clay track then i'll use front diff.
ok, thanks for opinion and advise so far,
