I'm completely satisfied with the feel and materials with my Nomadio React...In the past I have used the KO Helios with drop wheel, Futaba 3PK, Multiplex 707, and JR R-1...
Remember...the title of this thread is ugliest high end radio.....not "ugliest high end radio that works great or that I like". Nomadio.....I haven't seen anyone at my track with the guts to use one!!! I hel one at RCX a couple of years ago and that was enough to make me NOT buy one.

I find the Nomadio Sensor to be the most comfortable and light radio I have used.

I always admire the big 3, which are Futaba 3PKs, Airtronics/Sanwa M8 & M11, and KO Propo Helios. The ugliest pos radio that I've ever seen is the Hitex Lynx. Even if someone gave it away to me, I'd throw it into a trash can immediately.

My earlier comment was directed at someone worried about the quality of the materials in the React...

The first line still applies.....when people say 'Nomadio' it would be interesting to hear which radio specifically they are referring to.

Looks like it should say Nikko or Tyco on it.

Got it...my comment was for the original Nomadio radio. Looks and feels cheap. That receiver was also funky looking.....like it was made in someone's basement as a high school science project.

SRAD:
Man - that's been a LONG while. They've had the V2 receivers for a looooong time now. They have the micro's on the way early Summer, I think.
I dunno - I don't mind the Sensor at all. Once you get used to it, the adjustability is ridiculous. Just a couple screws, and I can swivel around the screen to point in any direction, si if I hold the sensor at a wierd angle to my body, I can adjust the screen so I do not need to move the controller a single bit to look at it.

Just one of those little things that help.

I'm sure Nomadio owners like the features and funtions....but it's just so hard to overcome the looks of the thing.

Don't listen to him, he's sponsered by them . Actually I agree with you, Nomadio is awsome. I got my KO Helios before the React came out, and when I saw the price of the Sensor, I went with the Helios with Spektrum. Now I would go for the React right away, if I had the choice between the React and Helios. The React is much more radio for your dollar.

I'm sponsored by my wallet, and I have a Sensor, and am about to get a React 'Any Day Now'.

The features are awesome, built-in telemetry, PC-manageable...
