What an awesome race. Its great to see the best in the nation come to my home track and see everyone have such a great time. All I kept hearing was how much fun everyone was having because of the laid back atmosphere that is rare at events this size, and especially with the high level of competition. I woud like to thank Ted Hammer for working so hard to make this race what it is, even if he is Rogers assistant. Also, thanks to Roger who kept things rollin, Rick Frazier for all the hard work and the rest of the One eighth racers club. I'm proud to be a part of the club.
I would also like to congratulate the winners.... Andy Powers, Joel Johnson, Jamie Corrado (awesome run, man!), and Mark Sweeney who drove great. Also to my little buddy Paul Ciccarello who was the man and almost lived up to my (high) expectations for him, even if he didnt think he would.
As for me, well... it was an awesome weekend, all the way until the main. Thanks to everyone for the kind words and support. There are way to many people to list but everyone knows who they are, and I appreciate it more then you will ever know..... it really means a lot to me when people are as excited as I am when I run good. So, thank you again for that.
Only only 359 days until practice starts again!

To mcsquish, I've got all that data, and will post it on SGrid Online along with the rest of the article about the top speed run, and the photos of the winners, probably sometime this evening. The way things are going, it probably won't be until 10pm or so.

These are not top quality pic's, but they are something to look at via my screwed point of veiw of 8th scale cars under the Kyosho banner. The K cars looked real good this past weekend. The Toledo 1/8th scale club did an amazing job putting on this race. This is my 2nd time for the GLC. It wont be my last! This race is the perfect blend of fun and high comp levels. The race is packed with lots of great people. It's no wonder it sold out 2 months prior to the event. Get ready for it to go even quicker next year. You all deserve a big round of applause. The track was a treat to drive on. Dare I say the best in the states?
