I have been waiting for Cactus results to be posted, none
yet that I can find! I haven't heard from Jeremy or Zack, so
I assume they are still sleeping!!!!!!!

Alex Alvarez finished 4th in the 10.5, 4wd B-Main and
5th 10.5 2wd C-Main. I know Alex had a great run that
had him 8th for one round, just needed a little more luck
to get him in the A. The 10.5 classes are really competitive
at this race and 15 minutes long. Good job, Alex! Thanks
also to Phil for holding up the Banzai Nation for us!

I think Zack made several B-Mains, post up here Zack and
thoughts on the race.

Special thanks to Adam Bailey for helping the Banzai team
at the race. It was a real comfort knowing the team would
have a "go-to" guy when we couldn't be there!

Also, I saw some pictures of little gremlins tp-ing Fez's
truck!!!!!!! Looked AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Mom, I think I was wrong on the "C" main, I think Alex was 4th not 5th and he did have (2) great qualifying runs in 10.5 4wd, he posted an 8th place for round 3 and a 5th place the 4th round, for a total of 13 points, but you needed (10) to make the "A" main and they took only 8 and bumped up 2 from the :B: mains. The quality of drivers at the Cactus was top notch and the track took all of your attention for all (10) laps, 11 if you were lucky. A real test.
Adam Bailey was a very nice guy, more than willing to help. I do know Fez and him spent some serious time together. A lot of good people there. It was a blast. Too bad the JBRL is already this weekend, Alex feels like he is still at the Cactus.

The TP'ing event was a classic, it's great that Fez is such a good sport.

Yeah, we're coming up, but I don't know if I'm going to race or not.

Alex did great at the Cactus...there certainly were a host of drivers that could take any of the classes so it was a very competitive year. The track required a LOT of patience and that became tough if one needed to make up any time. It was nice to see everyone out there and Adam was great to work with in regards to the speedos...Thanks Adam.

Can't wait to see everyone out for the JBRL kickoff.

Doing ok. Having a few down weekends to get stuff done around the house, server migration at work, lick my wounds from the bigfoot lol, and then hopefully get back to wheeling somewhere. I had some positives come out of the bigfoot just not good results to show for it. The weather is starting to stay nicer, and it has me staring out the window here at work. Freedom is less than 2 hours away lol.

How about you?

Just living life trying to deal with all the job lay off's and places going out of business. Being home helps save on the daycare that we were paying out each month. Summer is coming up and it will be time for football for both my boys so I gotta get ready for that expense. Then there's my own selfishness (Reedy) that I'd like to do. Just living life.............boring isn't it

We have been pretty fortunate around here. The realestate market did not go as crazy as it did in alot of places. Some things have slowed down, but I always see signs up for helped wanted at all kinds of businesses. I had made a bunch of changes financially to save money, just to have this getting sick creep up on me. That really killed my chances of going to nats, and most of my friends either having problems or just flat out quitting rc put the rest of the nail in the coffin. Oh well, try again next year.
