I believe it also says "personal transponders" REQUIRED!

That will probably make a difference to some of us, going

or not going, as we do NOT use them any other time of the

year, at least not that I can think of. Not the JBRL, Shoot-Out,

or Reedy.

Whoops! My post changed the page. Go to page #62 for the

Cactus link.

Downtown: Hi!!! I'll be waiting for your call! I'll fix you up!

Man, it's been 10 years since I went to the Cactus Classic. Well, 10 years next year. I'm making plans on coming down there this year as long as everything works out alright.

harjo: That would be cool if you can make it to the Cactus. It looks like quite a few Banzai drivers are planning on going. We can put on a Banzai Blitz. Keep us posted.

Judi,

Actually, JBRL does use personals now. Just thought I would throw that out there.

They have never been "required" as the Cactus is.

Scott's never had personals.

So, are you saying this year they will be required??

Jimmy won't require personals for the JBRL.

Not using a personal is definately nice if you are running multiple classes. That way you can't forget your PT. When you check in, they give it to you...

Very true. You have to go thru tech anyways so you might as well pick up your transponder.

Personal's are used all over the place but most places and races do not REQUIRE them. The only race I know of in So Cal area that REQUIRED them was I think the nitro challenge last year. I sucked it up and put them in all my cars since it is nice to not have to worry about it but I understand the exta $90 for most people is a lot of money especially if you do not race a lot.

Well I am done with all this white stuff. It is cold and slippery. Spent the last two days trying not to kill myself in it but I survived as if I am lucky I all I have to deal with is the wet stuff that falls out of the sky. It is strange up here in Oregon. We do not get that white stuff or the wet stuff in So Cal. At least the wet stuff has stayed way for most all of this year.

My son raced tonight for the first time and got 4th in the novice A main. Of course he was powered by Banzai and Slingshot. I am very happy that he has taken an interest into the hobby.

Don't bring any of that "White Stuff" with you, when you come back either. I was born and rasied here in So Cal, but lived in some places with more white stuff that you can imagine. It Sucks. Be safe up there.
