I talked to Hara about the glitching. The driver's stand has an over head awning that drops down to block the sun from the driver's eyes in the evening hours - trust me, it definatly helps!! Hara said his antenna would touch the awning from time to time causing the glitch but he didn't notice that he was touching it while he was driving. I did the same thing one run and got a small glitch so I didn't pull up the last bit of my antenna and everything was fine. I watched Hara run on Tuesday and Wednesday with no glitches and I think in the finals he also had no troubles.

thanks for the info, it seemed like an odd situation, and antenna hitting the awning is always a pain even i've had that problem from time to time

Now I'm sad though Cant blame the glitch for 7th place!

Hara at the mains didn't suffer from glitches. First main got hit and stayed way back of the pack he tried to reach others but after a while he quit as he was reaching them but on slow rate. Second main he was super fast right behind Marc but a stupid mistake drop him back and again couldn't reach first places. Same with third.

But don't get confused, everyone was testing I'm pretty sure things wont be the same at the WC

lot's of testing were done, on tuesday we had lot's of sunshine only the wind blow very hard in your face making it very hard to drive the track. Also on places were curbstone were in the past, with the sun on it in the afternoon, the track was so reflecting you couldn't see you car anymore.
On wednesday the weather was very nice with sunshine and almost no wind so it was very nice to test.

Only thing I can say from looking at the fast guys: Masami was driving like 20 batteries a day and looked awsome. His car was not only fast but also very well dialed.

At the worlds temperatures will normally be at 30 degrees or above so that requires different aproaches from the 18 degrees we had on wednesday.

Is M.Rheinard running the Fix Centre with the front spool?

What is Andy Moore Setup? Front Spool & Fix center as well?

The tracklayout required to brake at the end of the straight and sometimes also before the hairpain going onto the straight.

Cheers

Tks for the reply MrC.

Is it necessary that the fix spool/fix center make the car run hotter after per run?

Really keen to try the above combination myself instead of the oneways!

I read somewhere before as Mr AdrainM commented that the oneways are "OLD SKOOL" and Fix Spool & center are way to go! Didnt u Mr AdrainM?

With IFMAR quaifying in a group of well separated cars a one way may yeild a faster single lap.

During a main in a pack of closely grouped cars spools give drivers the abilty to drive harder, brake when necessary and drive diffrent lines through corners easily.

To do the same with a one way requires tremedous self discipline in letting off the throttle at the right time to make it into a corner...especially under pressure.
