Why, so people stop buying the $425 Flagship 415msx...not a smart move for Tamiya. But as a club racer, it's as capable as any car made.

Well ! .....how much more does a Porsche cost compared to a WRX ? ...one's a "full blown" race car and the other's a budget "tuners" car ....but on the roads, more often than not you'll see the full blown car being blown off by the budget car !


....no offences to anyone here driving a Porsche !

Any WRX STi won't be able to keep up with a full blown Porsche RUF, GT3 or GT2. The only Porsche that a WRX can keep up with is a non turbo 911 and a Boxter.

I think the project tao5 by speedtech is just a showcase of what can be made of a full optioned tao5. They wont sell it as a kit as the price would be too steep.

The pro 4 is a top racing chassis better compare it to tamiya top racing chassis like a 415. But yeah I like the tao5. Handles great out of the box and parts are really really cheap. Gears, hubs, arms, almost half the price of other company kits. Just buy trf shocks for durablity. Even other company kits ditch their shocks in favor of trf shocks.

OT. I've see a lot of BMI videos that actually pit stock cars from ferrari, bmw, lance evo, wrx, nsx, lambo, etc. The underdog cars that win. Even the nsx could hold its own against a murcielago. I couldn't believe it. Download the videos, they're all over the net.
