Make sure if you get the hyper 21 engine it is NOT the pull start model unless if you can't afford a starter box.

For club racing I don't think the engine size matters much. At our local track we have seen good drivers with 25's and 26's out performing the mediocre drivers with all the top-end equipment. I think if I were you I would buy a RTR and put your good radio gear in it. Our track isn't huge but I think most tracks challenge the driver more than the motor at club level. Run what it comes with and upgrade later.

you will get good enjoyment out of both those items, however the truggy could appeal to you more if you intend to bash in the rough stuff, plus the jammin truggy is also an exellent racer. if you plan on racing look at the jammin x1 rtr, it turns great it has c-hub suspension rather than pivot ball wich is on the hyper buggy you are looking at. i think you can get a hyper 7 tq pro wich does have pivot ball but for me i would choose the jammin x1 just cause it handles the rougher track's better due to more down travel.

wich ever you do choose out of that group i'm sure you will be happy for months on end.

You never answered the question why tower. If it is because its close I understand but for availability and the best service I have seen.
Try here for parts and stuff. You can get all the spares you need plus if you call they can get you stuff specificly.
www.speedtechnitro.com they are updating the server right now but should be up in a couple of minutes.

And as far as which to choose. The Jammin CRT is one tough truggy, and as far as the RTR, it only needs two hopups to make it competative if you want to race it. The Z brace and the aluminum chassis braces total of $65.00 and they aren't nessesities but mearly helpfull hopups.

Oh the Hyper 7 is on its way out and parts will become harder to get.
The Jammin is winning races like crazy and they have tons of support on line if you need help with setups and tips.

Thanks Mr. Shookie that was very helpfull. Tower because can get parts fast and like there parts list. I am getting more fond of the truggys over the buggys. Are the hot bodies truggies any good?

go the jammin x1 crt you will not be dissapointed. the hpi as far as i know has had no sucsess.
