Thank you for the info dude. I talked to Doug at Serpent USA and he's sending me the updated arms, but I can't seem to find those Mugen upgrade pivot balls to save my soul. Can you point in the right direction please. I like your approach to this problem. Thanks bro!

With the new updated arms you don't have to use the Mugen pivot balls.

Depends, I use standard when traction is low (or itrack is damp/wet) and the track is tight and technical. Otherwise I go up to the 1.8 springs from either Serpent or Mugen.

my front toe is set out +2 degrees( points out) and rear toe is pointed in 3degress
yesterday on slippery track, my back end kicked out alot, especially on throttle exitting corners
i was using red shocks on back and yellow on fronts, would it help if i had neutral toe on front and yellow springs in backs aswell

ps. my back left shcok was leaking oil

First fix that shock hahahaha Decreasing the toe will help try -1 or -.5. Also try red front spings and yellow rear. Also go with a lite rear diff oil. maybe 10,000. Rear sway soft and front at 45 degrees. You can do a lot more, but you can start with this. Also less camber in the front will help and more camber in the rear will help. Not sure what you have now.

The standard 720 spring is #6586 correct?

Which Serpent spring are you using?

#909518 1.8mm standard (grey)

#909520 1.8mm long (black)

Thanks.

Thanks.
Seems the colour is grey so it must be the first one. I don't have the original packing so can't tell for sure.

For those who run the 720 for the setup you will need these Skyline hopups that make the 720 a real rocket....

Rear upper arm plate
Hollow 2 speed shaft
Rear shock tower
Aluminum rear anti-roll bar mount
rear body post mount

Front
Solid axle oneway
2 droop
yellow springs
2 hole on shock tower
50wt oil 3 hole
1/2 toe out
4mm caster clips in fromt of arms
middle roll center
Swaybar flat
long ackerman
Use the right upright on the left and the left upright on the right
Put a 1.5mm shim to level the steering link for 0 bump steer
42 shore tires 60.5
197mm
5mm ride height

Rear
7 droop
yellow springs
3 holes from the top of the Skyline rear shock tower
40 wt 3 hole
lower hole on rear upright
outer and highest position on the Skyline rear upper arm plate (need to make a shorter link)
3 rear toe in
rollcenter position #2
3mm in on 2.6mm swaybar
42 shore 61.5
6mm ride height
200mm

Proto stratus 3.1
Engine:Zx-12 .55 shims
Rocket Science 30%
Yellow Clutch
.70 clutch bell end play
1/8th spring nut tighten to 2.2mm
lighten clutch bell

Qualified 3rd in the Forgass state series finished 5th.. Car was good with lots of speed. I made the car have a small push to get rid of traction roll. The traction was higher than ever and I scrambled to stop it and this is what I did.. I would of preferred 45 shore tires but did not have them... I was really happy to have had the extra adjustments that Skyline rear link plate gave me.. I want to thank Ken Osaka for the help it made a lot of difference in my car and everyone else who was at the event running the 720.. 8 of the 12 cars were 720 and Paolo Morganti got the win with a 720..
