I had my TC5 on track for the first time this last weekend...Holy crap on-road is fun lol. Car was really sketchy for first part of the day, but after spending some time with my buddys setup station and fixing a couple small issues on the car that I hadn't noticed before....the thing was VERY hooked up by the end of the day. look forward to getting more track time on it!

Well I have a VTA set up! But I wouldn't call it great! still working on getting the lap times down... The consistency for me is there, but it's about .5-1 sec off the leaders pace on asphalt! So I have to work on it still! Haha, I posted some on the previous page of this thread... But definitely check out the VTA thread

OK...I found this set up I wrote down. Who posted it I don't recall. I was going to try it on my TC5. But I'm happy with my IRS chassied TC3 for now.

TC5 Set up.

Silver front spring
Green rear spring
40wt shock oil
Arm blocks @ 2A all around
Front droop 4
Rear droop 3
Ride height 6.5front, 6.0 rear
Shock mounts 3A and 2A front and rear

I don't know if this a set up for Asphalt or carpet. Try it let me know.

Ive used 55/82 with a Novak 25.5 for VTA racing. That came out to a 2.98FDR. It never ran hot either, always under 140 on event the hottest days. It was fast down the straight, but a little slow coming out of corners on tighter tracks. But with a driving style/set up that carries a lot of corner speed it worked well. Try for around a 3.5 FDR and you should be good.

Hi guys,
I've replaced my TC5's front balldiff with spool. it actually worked better for me, however after every heat, one of the bone blades breaks.

Any suggestion to solve this issue?
Any experience?

Thank you in advance for your response.
