I didn't physically measure the bearing, but the manual says the bearings are 6x10x4. I just asked David at Avid about this size, since they aren't in the webstore.

You must be looking at the old Factory team tc5 manual. Thats a typo. It is 6x10x3. They corrected it in the tc5r&f manual.

Theres also the Exotek one, but thats a whole new chassis.

Since doing a couple small changes to my setup my car has gone ok to very good, I finally know how awesome the TC5 is to drive the ITF top deck and FT chassis seems to work well for rubber on low bite ashphalt.

is there an aftermarket aluminum spur gear adapter for the tc5?

Why would someone run a metal spur? Woudl it be ok to have the two drive gears metal?

spur adapter (what the spur bolts to) not the actual spur.
