I had a great night with the tc5 last night, I must have had a bad set of Sorexes...I switched to some jaco blues and the car was amazing...is anyone running jacos on asphault? Everyone at my track runs sorexes but I have had two sets that never really worked...the jacos worked so well teh tires were chattering...

Inserts play a big role in how well a tire performs. The Sorex tires are a much better tire than Jaco blues. What is the grip level of your track and what sorex tires, wheels and inserts have you been running?

It is high grip, I have tried 32 and 36 premounted on speedmind wheels so Im not sure of the inserts...

Yesterday I finally got to drive a TC5r which my dad bought second hand, damn it handled very nice much better then mine which I've spent a couple months getting setup and I find this one TC5r already dialled in for my style of driving which I find kinda annoying but ah well. I just hope the ITF top deck that I ordered will give me enough flex to make that car handle even better.

Jaco Greens are okay for a few runs but they wear quickly.. Sorexes are better in pretty much every way. Id say if greens are working for you, go with 32s (lower bite/temperature), and if blues then 36s(higher bite/temperature).
TRD, when you say they are not working, do you mean oversteer? understeer? we need a bit more info to help you out. A setup would be helpful too..

Something about your setup doesnt seem right... Stiffer springs in the rear than in the front? 
I assume you checked for an unglued tire. What is your complete setup?

trd run 35 weight oil and blue up front silver in rear 5.5 ride height 6 droop front 4 droop rear no sway bars

Thanks guys, I have tried a few different spring options but went back to blue in the rear and silver up front because its helps transfer weight to the front tires and thats what the fast guys are running here...

what are the effects of changing the arm mount set up and keeping all the other setups the same, for example.
going from this setup:
2a=front front (closest to the bumper)
2a=front rear (closest to steering servo)
2a=rear front (closest to motor)
2a=rear rear
to this setuo:
