Use this for the T-Nut replacement, much easier and works better.

I run a 3.5 and use a FDR of 11-12 with good results, thats on nimh though, should be able to run down in the 9's with a lipo if the track will take that much

The old t-nut that some of you say to use. Are the ears as wide as the standard TC5 part? I had an old t-nut and the ears are not as wide so I thought it would create excess movement in the diff assembly.

Why do you want aluminum? My experience with any metal outdrive is that they endup wearing faster than the $5 plastic sets.

recently a freind of mine ended up hitting a wall and broke the aluminum outdrive on the tc5. Under the same circumstances, I would rather break a $5 part than a $40 part.

hey guys,

Will this lipo sack http://www.smc-racing.com/lv_sum5028ld.htm fit into an Associated TC5 that has this http://www.ppdbillet.com/images/600_tc5_base.jpg as the weight plate under the lipo. Basically my concern is that the 5000 pack may sit too high and not fit under the upperdeck.

I have both of them and have never had problems. I have 1mm under the rear bulkhead and roughly 4mm under the top deck, and I'm using foam tape to hold the weight to the lipo.

I no this is not the right thread but anyway. The alligator clips on the Muchmore CTX Cell master, can they be removed. I want to put bullets on instead so I can charge lipos. When I hooked the alligator up to a pigtail with bullets, it says check clips. So I dont no what the deal is....

Please help.

For those of you coming out to Speedworld for the Reedy race, Rick's set up from the world's looks killer on the track. The guy that ran it TQ'ed and won 13.5 this weekend. I guess I gotta step my game up
