I am working on putting my diff's in right now and I gotta say I am confused by the instructions. When it says you oppositely match the right side of the cam holder to the left am I correct in how I have the diff set in the attached picture? With the right side in the second space back on the cam.

Corey,

Yes you are correct in that pic. If you want the belt tighter rotate the notch toward the center of the car and if you want it looser rotate the notch toward the outside (Front for the front and rear for the rear) of the car. On the front belt you can start with it in the loosest position as the belts are pretty tight.

NOO!!! lol I was just about to edit my post to that. I was looking on Stormer for various things and I noticed the spool was only 5.95 and quick came here to change it... Looks like I got beat by about 10 minutes. Oh well.

I Ran a 114 on my car at the Reedy with the Quad mag's. I could go as low as a 5.20 FDR with that size spur I think.

Im new on this thread, and was thinking about getting one of these. Could someone please tell me if it comes with 2 ball diffs and if the center is solid or does it come with a center oneway. I also will be running on asphalt and dont want to get a "carpet" car. I currently run a Fk05 but I have always been an associated guy. I know everyone has a model preference but could someone please tell me if its a good choice the way the kit is right now out of the box for asphalt. Thanks

two diffs yes. The car is ready to go out of the box for carpet. I feel very confident this car can be run outdoor asphault club racing out of the box with a different set up. I am currently building mine.

Brian,

I have a Nitro regional the following weekend so I will not be able to make it this year. I also have the Gas Truck Nats in August and then the 1/8th scale Regional in Sept. (come on RC8)

I plan on working the car on carpet first so I will hit Horsham a couple of times before the fall. Then get to Mimis for the carpet regional.

I will be running the car with 5 cells and a BL system (LRP) . ROAR will be on board soon enough.

Juan,

See you on the carpet.

EA,

Nice run in your main

Yes I will post it either tonight or tomorrow. The car was VERY good. I actually had the 2nd fastest laps of practice in the 6th round but just made too many mistakes in the heats. The car was a top 10 car without a doubt. Driver was just a C main driver yet again

Thanks Eric!

So my real question now is now with my front belt set at Mid-High #10 notch. That is refering to the left side of the diff which puts the notch at the 2nd notch in from the front of the car on both the left and right of the car. That is the what confused me the most.

Also whats with the cam holder B with the holes in it? There is no mention of it anywhere in the manual.

Corey
