I have a Tekin 112C and 112A and would like to kmow how do I connect these chargers to an external power source ?

I see both chargers have a pair of tamiya connectors on the back (one female and one male).

Also how do I connect the 112A to the 112C ?

Can I just use the 112A connected to a car battery and how do I connect it ?

I have the manual but it leaves out all this info !

You should be able to plug one into the other either way. However, the one with the available female connector is the one that will be connected to a power supply. If you bought either of these new, you should have gotten a cable with alligator clips for connecting to a 12V power source. Your power souce should have more amperage output than the charge rate of the 2 chargers combined. For example, if you're charging at 5A on both chargers...you should use a power supply with at least a 10A output. I'd go more just to be safe. As for using a car battery, I've only tried charging with 2 chargers off a car battery once. I was charging at 5A per charger and always got an error on the second charger. Probably because there was not enough amperage to support both charger.

Use the plug that the BC122a does not plug into to connect to a 12v power source. ?????The BC112C has an internal power source that works very well. Why do you want to connect to 12v???

I just wanted to know this in case I decide to use either in a parking lot and of my car's battery.
