The best is to start with medium springs.. then decide to go for harder or softer springs..

Try the medium first and see if the car's back sliding change to softer one's and vice versa ..
If you think medium one's are fine, then just try softer one's just for change, u might see that its running better.
Just try different setup's, you dont know which is best until your try.

Is your surface a race track , parking lot... (smooth or bumpy)
Smooth tracks you can use a harder spring. Bumpier tracks need a softer spring.
Start with what the kit comes with or suggests. What kit is it BTW. Theres sometimes also setup sheets on the web that can direct you towards a good inital setup or one tailored for what your running in.
Then go from there.
