Well the Colorado Carpet Classic is over. We were able to put 3 Darkside Mx2's into the A-main in stock, but B-main was the best for the 19 turn.

Mike 415 lead the charge but ended up short of the podium in 4th, Dan finished 5th or 6th (scoring issue) and I ended up 7th. Not bad for end of season racing.

Thanks to Scottick and the Montana boys for joining us. Great racers and people to hang out with. Look forward to your return trip. I do have 3 trophy's to send off to you guys. 1st Concourse, 2nd B-main 19 turn and 3rd for ???

E- Thanks again for the help and "Special" motor drops, they helped.

I'm going to take 6 weeks off prior to racing outside on the pavement with Mugen gas touring and 1/10 scale pan car. Will try the I-Fource at some time and compair to the C10x I've running.

Ahem,

there WAS a Darkside in the 19-T A main...qualified 6th by yours truly.

The "3rd for ???" would be my trophy for the 1/12 Stock B-main maybe? Couldn't get that POS Carpet Knife into the show

Great to meet a great bunch of guys. Thanks for the invite.

Glad you got home safe - Hope you had time to study while on the road.

Sorry about the memory on the Darkside car in the A-Main 19 turn. I am glad you had a good time, hope you can come back again. I'll post your flier on our 1/12 scale site and remind racers.

Well i have to say i was very disapointed with not being able to get in a good qual for my Darkside...it was really fast in round 4 but traffic took my pace (to be in top 3) and smooshed it down to the "great" spot of the helmet with an earlier round time...oh well....my car felt real good so next race it will be ready. Man did that helmet throw my driving off for a few laps in the main...LOL

Mike, I'm sure that you will get it back. Would like to see the picture with you and your hat......Where can it be found???

Your settings helped on the 19 turn and I have a good setting for stock using the silver chassis. Mike415 had some faster laps, but mine were very very consistant.

I'm going to work on the instuctions for E - any input you would have?? Anyone else who has built one??

This was used for ONE race day, so it is in excellent shape, I would like to get 75 dollars shipped in US, please email or PM me....
The kit has arrived and gone to a good home!

Thanks!!

A great weekend for Darkside Motorsports:

A note of thanks to the HobbytownUSA; Westminster, Colorado race crew for a putting on a great event. I had a racing tough weekend, but it was enjoyable to hang out with some old friends as well as make some new ones from points north. Look forward to running with you again. It's nice to see a rebirth in the local indoor racing scene, the direct result of some hard work by a handful of dedicated racers. Darkside Motorsports was well represented at this event with 3 cars in the top 8 in 1/12 stock and 3 cars in the top 9 in 1/12 19Turn.

Mike Haynes continues to turn heads and impress the competition with another strong run at this past weekend's ROAR carpet nationals. Some bad racing luck landed Mike in the not so desired position of BQ in 1/12 19T. Keep up the good work, you're going places. Your efforts and dedication do not go unappreciated.

Lastly, I'd like to thank the the local Colorado guys in the 1/12 classes who are running the Mx2 chassis. I can't tell you how much it means to me to see the success and results that you've had.
