Default Battery maintance

I have a couple of ib 3600 packs that i thought were pretty strong, until recently. They have not been performing well the last couple of weeks, and im wondering if its just their time to slow down. One of them only took 2900mah on the last charge and the other 3300mah. The packs are about 8 months old, and used once a week. Ive been reading up on stuff, seems i should have been charging them at 6amps, ive been chrging at 5. I also use a smart tray right before i charge, i read also that it might be better to tray after my run and let it set all week at .9 per cell. Any advice on getting these packs back? Or is it just time for them to slow down? Any advice on maintance, if not for these packs, for other packs in the future?
Thanks

SMC (www.smc-racing.com) also have a good guide aimed at IB3600s and 3800s.

You may want to fully discharge them before you put on the tray to equalize them. Try using pulse discharging device like spintec or trinity to breakdown any internal crystalization of the cell if you are able to afford them.
