Default rc addict

when you wake up 5am in the morning and check your car and computer for parts and hop-ups until you fell asleep on your desk.

when you always dream (day and night) you are the champ on every races.

when you cancel your shift at work just to mess around with your rc stuff.

You know when youre seriously addicted to r/c cars when you can reel off the dates of upcoming races but cant remember your partners birthday or forget it and go racing instead that day

(Ive not got that bad yet... I think my r/c stuff would be thrown into the street very, very quickly if I did and rightly so )

When you wonder why Bridgestone doesn't make CS27 style tries or foam tires.

When you wonder why Monster truck racers don't use full scale Crime Fighters or Bowties instead of the Chevron tread tires. (True story)

When you imagine how cool it would be to have a Brushless/Lipo setup in a full size car.

It's probably more like your RC cars *cause* divorce court.

Which brings us to the old joke "Why is a divorce so expensive? Because it's worth it!"

When instead of going on a week long cruise with the rest of the family where you can sip umbrella drinks, gamble, and enjoy on shore excursions ...you go to the paved on road nationals instead.

When you finish work at 1am, get picked up at 3:30am to travel 3 1/2 hours to go to a race meet - race all day on a gut full of Maccas from the early morning... find out there's another race meet that same night on the other side of Brisbane... go to that race as well... inhale 4 V drinks and drive home 4 hours to make it in bed by 2am.

I love RC.
