When you make 1:1 car purchases based on "Will this thing haul all my R/C stuff and get me to the track fast?"

When your staying the night with a racing buddy in a hotel room/tent. You've woken up during the night, and heard them sleep talking!!!! I was staying in a tent with a mate once and woke to hear him saying (still fast asleep) "yeah, try a thicker roll bar on the front zzzzzzzzzzzzz maybe rise the front roll centre zzzzzzzzzzzzz tyre tweak maybe?????" When I woke up the next morning I was told I was doing exactly the same thing!!!!! Interestingly the suggested setup changes worked!!!!

You know you're addicted when........you go shopping with the family and coincidently happen to drive by a unknown hobby store (which you found online the night before) while in the area. You know you're addicted when........you plan family day at the local track.

The wife is happy just to see a smile on my face. The family is also spoiled by me. Anything they want that we can afford, they get without anything for me in exchange.

My divorce wasn't casued from RC, but I also no longer have an RC budget. Now..... I just buy what I need when I need. As a matter of fact I thought to myself when buying a new TC, what is better then one T2? 2 T2's! lol

The cars were the cheap part! Stocking up so I could break each part 3 times was the chore! lol

Last time I went to Cleavland I left on Wednesday. This year I will be at teh Gate the Friday before! lol

Marriage with RC VS. Divorce with RC....

I compare the two like IB's and Sanyo's! Both are good.... but the other is just SO damn better.

Yeah. And if you use "No dude, I mean my 'big' car!" frequently, that's a sign your buddies are also addicted to R/C

Oh yeah - if you check if you could possibly stiffen the anti-roll bar on your 1:1 car, that's another sign!

If you've learned CAD just to make some parts for your R/C car...

If your friends/relatives/significant other are well aware that Sunday = race day, and they shouldn't even think about contacting you...

If you mod miscellaneous power tools around the house with GP3700 or modified motor power ...

If you buy Brake cleaner in cases of 24, but never actually used them to clean 1:1 brakes...

If you'd rather change the shock oil in your R/C car than the motor oil in your 1:1 car...

I could go on all night!
