Default Looking for starter box. Any recommendations.

Looking for a starter box for my hpi nitro rs4/3 type ss, basically need it to be compatible with this, but i'm also thinking of getting a 1/8 scale truck so would maybe like compatibilty with this as well.

Have been looking at the ofna multi i because you can use this on virtually everything but can find any where in the u.k that stocks ofna stuff. Also have seen some that you can put a glow starter panel in, i would like this facility if possible.

Any recommendations?????

Talking

Turn your bicycle upside down and get someone to start turning the pedals really fast.

On a more serious note. Integy make a good starter box.

When the first nitro cars came out way back then that was the only way to get them started for most people as starter boxes had to be made at home. Nobody producing them like they do now.

Nigel1210. I cant think off hand who the UK Distributor is for OFNA if there even is one but give Helgar Racing or Ripmax a call. They should be able to help you.

Thumbs up

Here is an HPI starter box which is available in Europe.

See
http://cgi.hpi-europe.com/accessories.php?lang=en

Then scroll down the page to find the box and part number.

Here are 2 interesting web articles about improving and maintaining your starter box.

i have a friend that has a ofna box with good wire and stock motor arms in mod cans wired reverse polarity and timing at 0 deg.
with the motors and the better wires he went half the summer with out having to charge his 12v battery yes it's true i would swear it. it's just silly how bad the stock motors are and that undersized wire is heck start your motor and feel the wire and it's warm. hum thats not right!

The Ofna is similiar to the Duratrax one. You should have no problem getting it in the UK.
