I believe that it should be a solid buggy. They are a company that knows how to exploit a drive train for minimal weight which is something that alot of 1/8th scale lacks. Not to mention the geometry that have been giving their cars as of late handles rough tracks like a champ. As long as it doesn't have durability issues like the xxx-nt it should be sucsesful.

Some of the stuff on that car are rapid prototypes, but the rest of the car looks very production-ready.

Is the necessary range of motion the reason that Losi is not the first 1/8 buggy with vertical mounted inner ball studs? 
I think that would be a nice adjustment to have (ball stud height).

That's a possibility..1/8th scale buggies do tend to have a considerable amount of suspension travel. It may also not be as durable to do the upper arms in such a fashion.
I'm sure some form of being able to change the roll centers of the front and rear of the car will exist (it's hard to tell in the pictures of the buggy). Roll centers are often Jukka's favorite adjustments to play with.

I like the front steering like LST and solid
but the rear seems not so solid
mostly around the hubs there is not enough material to withstand a direct hit
they could have copied the front arms and had a large hub to do things with like outboard toe inserts....
