Difference between Trinity Drake and Trinity/Sirio Drake .12 Engine?
Hello!
I just got a GT and am looking for an engine. There is a black "Trinity" Adam Drake Edition .12 and also a blue-head Trinity/Sirio Adam Drake Edition. they look like totally different engines. What's the difference? Is one older, one newer? Any performance preference? They seem to cost around the same amount.
Thanks!

Trinity no longer carries Sirio engines...I don't know if Kyosho will have the side exhaust .12 that Trinity sold as the "Drake Edition" Sirio engine, which I believe was part number S12SE. Either way, Sirio's side exhaust and rear exhaust engines make GOBS of power and run very well. For the most part, Adam ran the rear exhaust engines, the part number S12TRPAF sounds familiar but don't quote me on that one..
The line of engines sold as the "Drake Edition" engines are based on different engines completely from anything that Sirio produces. There is a version of these engines that are hand-modified and cared for by the Drake himself before being shipped out. They run very well and are very easy to drive, for both the beginning gas truck racer and the fast guy alike; they're probably some of my favorite engines I've ever run.
