Anyone have a asphalt/foam tyre setup that I can start from and any other tips would be welcome.
Hope to have the thicker chassis and braces too ,as we only race on asphalt with foam tyres ,rubber died years ago.i think only tamiya stock class runs rubber these days.
See, when the car's a nice colour, everyones interested

I have understood the 2006-kits are sold out and Scythe is going with the 2007-model red and to a stiffer chassis; 2,5 mm will now be standard! We'll next week see what that will mean for the grip in the car

greetings,

Eric

hhmmmmm let's think, maybe because I only ever did one round at DV in stock, and that was my first time with the car?
And if you're talking about nationals, well for my second year of racing I'm pretty pleased with qualifying 11th place at 3 nationals in my first year of proper racing in events, and that was with pretty poor car. Not seen much of you at top events really....

Hi Eric
As I understand things, 100 limited edition kits were sold in the UK in the red colour instead of gold, and these have now sold out. I don't know if T.O.P are going to change the colour and chassis of the standard car as of yet, but I'm sure it would be in response to various drivers' opinions, ie red looks much cooler The 2.5 chassis will give less grip, which would also lower the need for the alloy bulkheads, but if they use the USA spec 2.5 chassis, this allows for wheelbase adjustments on the suspension arms, a very useful tuning tool the std car doesn't have.
If this change is supposedly for a 2007 model, I'm sure it will be released soon, and I'm also sure we will see many interesting things on the car at the TITC coming up in a month and a bits time.

Guys,

Hoping to try the car this weekend with a Foam/Ashphalt setup.

Last weekend got rained out, Love the weather down under...

I'll keep you all posted.

As mention previously I'm running the 2.5 US spec chassis, and full alloy to get the car to be stiff enough. Red edition car looks so nice, I'll try to get some pics as well.

Cheers
