i recon the VXR lithion ion packs are better. they might weigh the same but they are a little shorter, i think the lithion ion lasts longer as well.

The lithium pack might be a little bit lighter, but I am almost sure they are 1000mah packs. Plus, you need a lithium charger, and a voltage regulator.

I think 1000mah AAA is old news already:

Just got my Sanyo 1000 pack , not too bad shipping speed from all the way in Korea.

I like the pack , looks neat , has a shorter battery cord , just what I need. I weighed the AAA 5 Cell hump pack and its right on par with all my lw packs. 67.7grams.

Funny...I received it yesterday!
But mine has longer leads than the 900 mAh one I bought from the same guy a couple of months ago....
Just what I wanted.

Yeah I also shoe gooed mine shut from where the wire was poking out of the pack had a little gap in the shrink wrap. This should make it so nothing get jammed in there.
