I'm sorry, I didn't mean r/c tech. I meant the nashr/cracer site. No disrespect at all on the site. It's like the pic of the sheets with the heats and stuff is so big that I can't get the whole pic in the screen without having to scroll left to right. Everytime I try to scroll up or down I lose more and more of the pic. I just can't scroll down without loosing most of the pic. I don't know, maybe it's my PC.?!?! I did try to change the res. but it didn't help. Any ideas?? Thanks

Default HPI prototype

It sure looks a lot like the Alex Racing Barracuda. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. In this case, HPI must be running out of its own ideas.

Hara did not run any of the practice rounds. He got much better as the races went on. He wasn't really there to compete but yet to use the venue for testing. Every time he got into traffic he definitely backed off and if he brushed a board of any kind he would pull over to have his car checked for any damage. He really only finished one qualifier. You have to understand that since the car is a prototype and a lot of the parts are probably one of a kind right now that you really can't afford to break it. The diffs are out of a TC3, he was running 6 degree Losi caster blocks, beefy TC3-like arms, it was a hybrid of many cars but it was definitely neat. I am glad that HPI is finally doing testing on carpet with foams since I believe that is one of the big reasons that Pro 3 has flopped in the states. It's just not good indoors.

That would be a load of crap, there are plenty of races where they could test the car on carpet, why would they go to the expense of sending a team to the meeting if they were not there to really push and test their products performances. I would say most of the corally car is hand made and they seem to be staying with the competition, and i bet their parts are not just picked up off the wall of the local hobby shop.

Nearly all teams at big events have hand crafted cars when they are testing yet you do not hear of such excuses for a bad performance.

They did not make any excuses, I merely offered an explanation from what I saw the entire weekend. I am telling you what I saw and I guarantee you that he was not there competing trying to win the race.

It also appeared that they were there gathering information and setups on all the other manufactuerers cars to see what setups and what sort of car handling characteristics worked best on this venue and which better race to do it than probably the biggest race on carpet of the entire year anywhere with 490 entries?

Chris Doseck won 1/12 mod in spectacular fashion!

Mike Dumas took the victory in Sedan mod.

With all the money companies are spending on online advertising, all the coverage pretty much blows. With a few exceptions like Nash and Todd.

Why was Cyrul so far off the pace in TC?

I am proud of how the local guys at my track did. Not too bad for some of their first times there, like Josh Newman and Mike Truhe. Those two kids can drive anything and if they keep up with it will be doing very well for their teams in the near future. I just hope I can still somewhat keep up with them.

Good job Brian Kinwald !!! If there was ever a real IROC race with every type of car used, he would win by a MILE!!!

1/12 mod seems pretty suprising. Dumas has had it coming for a bit now seems like.

I heard that Josh had a little trouble in qualifing. Broke twice, dumped once. Still an awesome driver, just bad luck. GO ASSOCIATED!

[The most recent prototype] looks more like a TRF414M rather. The suspension pivot blocks, especially are clearly influenced by the Tamiya TRF414M series. It even uses a TRF414 bumper!

I'd love to see a pic of the car. I haven't seen any pit pictures or anything from this year's race yet.
