This battery fits well when I use the thick foam tape to center it. The battery is quite skinny.

Run time is plenty and the speed is very good.

For ESC I bought the HobbyWing QUICRUN 1060, only $21 (I removed the Tamiya connector and put an XT60 on there, wire length just enough)
For Servo I used the dirt cheap Futaba S3003 I had laying around. I wonder how long they will last.

ProTip: Take _extra_ care to make sure the dog bone (MA9) is inserted properly into B6. Step 5 on page 5. If you do it wrong you'll strip the plastic and get something that feels like a slipping diff or pinion gear, but isn't.

Really fun kit, kids and I love just zooming around the driveway with cones.

Tower has an ETA of March for it currently ($117). rcmart has them in stock for $119, and various HK sellers on ebay have them for $150-160.

In the meantime (courtesy of awesome superdude traxxalu - who just changed his YT nick)

This thing is a BLAST when I was in Hong Kong and gave that a try. Over asia, they are marking these up about 40% just because they are the hot cake of 2018. So don't even bother to find them in USA unless you are willing to pay the markup price from EBAY or RcMart. However, it is still way cheaper then getting into another TC for typical racing. This is something everyone can play with their kits and setup a track in their basement or garage and have fun. Try NOT to power this with brushless or anything powerful OR you will have to invest on lots of options. The stock car can only handle the stock motor or similar, anything else is going to be DNF.

My only concern is the battery....right now I am using my old left over 3/2A battery from my 1/18th scale M18, running 7 cells (8.4V) similar to the fully charged lipo 2S. And so far I have about 15 minutes of run time, Plenty enough fun.....and hope I will bring it to the TRACK and have the track starting the T3-01 Racing series....Over at ASIA they have plenty of race of these....STOCK and MOD, and starting the race with all the T3-01 laying down and have to DANCE UP and go, start the race....VERY VERY CLEVER AND FUN IDEA.

Anybody have this issue, when I push down on the electrics tray the transmission goes down... is that normal ? Will it pop back up when driving ? I was thinking of adding a rear shock to it

Mine will rebound the whole gear box back up and work like a typical car suspension. If yours did work that way, check on the parts B10, on your manual, step #4, the round/Star looking piece has a special direct way to go in...if you placed that on the other 3 direction and the suspension will not be working correctly. Look it up on step #4, piece B10. Or, tighten up the spring by 2 rotation.

Beside, you cannot really add a shock onto the rear gear box, not working on this 3 wheeler....because the front portion of the bike does rotate left and right.

finally got the hobbyking 370 sensored brushless motor in,aluminum pinion (which had to be drilled out)...the motor is a long can so you will need wider hexes even then you will need the included blue wheel spacers...rcmart has +3 offset mini wheels...i need the stiffer headset spring set and my body is out getting paint

Wow thats a lot of wire weight up high and your rear suspension looks to be bottomed out? You have some nice parts on your trike how does she run?
