have all the mr4 drivers switched cars all of a sudden?
No, I still love my Specials. If you read the last few posts, you'll see that I have no intention of getting rid of them. Yokomo will have to come up with a LOT better car for me to spend another $700 for two cars and the support parts (minus what I can get for my SP's) that are needed for competition. Right now I'm working out the final details on my high and low traction asphalt set-ups and rubber carpet set-ups. I went to Shreveport LA a few weeks ago and was totally lost on a foam carpet set-up, but I've since diagnosed where the car needed improvements and now have a plan for my next foam carpet set-up. I'm looking forward to carpet again soon- I love carpet racing. I'd give my left nut if someone would open an indoor carpet track here in Memphis

I love carpet racing too. Outdoors/pavement is not bad, but carpet is just too cool.

Team Yokomo is officially running the Special at the Worlds, so there's no argument that it's a good car. They are using *molded* pieces with the Tosolini camber mods, so I would expect to see those hitting shelves in a few months.

My 1-2-3 picks for the Worlds:

Masami
Hara
Lemieux

so, no new car huh?

I never did get the car to really work with the camber mods, though that was towards the end of the season.

Josh- mine is awesome with the camber mods. The guys here just can't get over how glued the car is. Also, when I went down to Louisiana, I didn't even tune the car, just threw it on the track and it was hooked. Although, it needed some tuning for foam, but I was lost for a foam set up and didn't even try to tune it. I just ran it like it was.... it was still good though.

I got a used Mission to try so I can compare the two. I'm curious to see how hard it is to get the Mission to be as good as the Yoks... if I can even get it to be that good.

Hey, I have a quick question reguarding the rear hub carriers. I just got a set of 1 deg. rear hub carriers and I can't tell which one is the left and which one is the right. Could any of the yokomo pros help me on this one.

Thanks in advance

The top part where the camber links mount offsets towards the front.

P# ZR-007 for the front kingpin ballstud setup.

I know my LHS has them, you might want to send an email to speedtech; I don't think they have them listed on the site but they may have them.

For the rear, you will have to make the parts yourself, I don't think the molded pieces are out yet.

You could call yokomo USA, I think you can order stuff from them, though it is a little more expensive.

MO, good to see you back. How's paved racing going so far this year? Made any good runs? Got any tuning tips for asphalt you want to share?
