Sorry Sir, I meant to check them today and got tied up shoveling snow at the shop and running the LM1 with the USGT class. I will check rim size tomorrow but 65/68 is about right for the OD on the foam as posted by trackdesigner

Awesome! Thanks, that's a start. Just need the wheel diameter now. The Tamiya Group C wheels for comparison are 44.2mm in diameter.

Rims are 50mm diameter. My foams measured 64.5 front/67.5 rear.

I think this could have a lot of promise. the promo video on youtube shows that you could have a field of these outdoors but the foam would work well indoors. A couple places are starting to get some interest thanks to a few guys running them at their local circuit.

Fresh build, still working on body. I will have to reinstall the motor wires as the body will not clear them as is. Very happy with this kit. Fit an finish is pure out of the box, then I added a few upgrade bits, (alum standoffs, carbon pcs, alum damper tubes, 64pitch gear and ceramic balls).
Speedo in now is the latest Reventon 1.1EX, servo is overkill but all I have for now. Will work on finding a better balance but was in a hurry for maiden run. Don't have a shorty pak....will wait till others get theirs built and we declare rules for our local class. 17.5 is super quick on our small track but plan to practice at hobbyplex in a few weeks. Hopefully body will be complete.
Thanks SPUSA for all of your support! Happy New Years to everyone.

Wooooo, RSX. I run that in my 1/8 nitro on road car and it is too fast. How was it with that servo?

Yeah, I run them in my nitro GT...just the only spare I had while waiting for my new servos to get here. (BLS551's)

It is definitely overkill and super quick, just dial down servo speed on your radio till ur comfortable. It was only for the maiden shakedown run (w/o body). Just couldn't wait to get it on the track 1 pack through it and 0 tire wear!!!

The guys that knew what they were looking at we're impressed.
The body and price will attract the others!

Back to the paint booth to finish body before next outing.
