change colour on metal parts

Any simple way to change the metal part of my TC5 from blue to black?

Yeah i thought the same although not to sure what to do about it?

Hopefully in next pay day i will be buying a micro anyways. It will then sit back further.

You could remove the antenna. Then you can push the receiver further towards the center.

just glue the tube to the receiver? Might try this...........

You could do that, or you could just not use the tube. If you use 2.4Ghz you don't need to put the antenna up through the roof.

Here is my 1/36 Scale Micro-T with a gamut of electronic equipment with a change of layout;

- 10300KV Brushless Motor
- 10A SunriseModel Brushless ESC with brake/Forward/Reverse/etc.
- 3 Channel Efly 2.4Ghz TX-RX, 3rd Channel used for Gyro Mode/Gain Adjust
- Eflite HEading Hold / Rate Gyro
- 5 wire servo to 3 wire servo conversion board
- DIY 3S 180maH Lipo with Balance Plug

With the lexan shell in place, you wouldnt know that its a 3 channel 2.4ghz , 3S Brushless Powerpack with a heading hold gyro steering in there

well, the usual. If you are thinking how protected the electronics are, the lexan shell does its job in hard crashes and bashing.
