In other news, that infinite adjustable timing means reverse-rotation hardware is a hundred times easier, could have backwards races again.

Yep. Or a left mounted offset pod for oval.

Did that back in the early 90's. Thinking about getting an Intimidator SE3 Pro-Comp Direct drive for spec class foam tire racing this winter. We are lucky enough to have both a great loose dirt oval and a great high bite foam tire dirt oval locally so I run loose dirt in the summer and will be running high bite this winter instead of VTA.

Well considering how the person that declared the D3.5 Illegal tested this one with the new state of the art machines I assume this one should be good to go for ever.

Default where?

Ok-- so who has them I stock?

What is the preferred version for:
17.5 touring----- rpm or torque
12th stock--- rpm?

burn it up at 60'.....????????
or perfect at 45'(with more ----gear---- or 52' with a tooth less..............)

Where do you start --- when you can get one!

I like the theory---- give them everything..... but entry , testing costs could escalate rapidly!

Dude! The motor was just released. probably not alot of testing done it due to the time frame they had to put it together for Nats! Just like anything else, if you buy it, you have to test it yourself. I would imagine that the timing would change based on alot of factors...driving style...ambient temps...track...etc. I know that MAniacs Hobbies has them in stock, Superior hobbies has them as well.

Sorry if that came off wrong. Didn't mean for it to. I will have one today and will be testing it this weekend. I will post what I get from it.

I got them in, built them, dyno tested them and sold them all except one of each for myself. Look good on the dyno. As far as setup everyone will have to figure that out for themselves I guess as no one I know has had them on the track yet.
