Whats the difference between Stock Mode and Modify Mode? They both have the same setting options.

yes, but the settings w/I the those 2 options are different.

setting #2, timing
for Mod, you can go from (off to 20)
for stock you can go from (off to 40)

turbo timing is also different between the 2

blinky is blinky, it doesn't matter which mode your in.

Just tried to download Program card ver.3 1209220 to my card, when I connect to my esc the card flashes Orca program card then goes blank. The card remains alight but no information. Has anybody got any idea what my be wrong. Thanks for any help

Can the switch be removed and left off?

did you update the ESC to V3 to match the program card? you have to do both.

Hi Stikman. Yea match both downloads esc to card and still didn't work. For some unknown reason it didn't match even though they were both the some. Lucky for me a mate had it on his laptop and the program card updated. problem solved.

I recently bought two of these new speed controls and plan to use them this weekend in 17.5 blinky class on an indoor carpet track. Are there any recommended settings to try? Team Powers Plutonium 17.5 Motor, xray t4

good choice...

ppm/drive freq - 4k
brake freq - 1k
punch - 10

i don't run drag brake or any other active brake settings.

I accidentally plugged battery in wrong and sparked quickly. It didn't stay plugged in, but did spark. After that, the throttle doesn't seem to work on my orca vritra 3.0. It still turns on fine and blinks, but the throttle doesn't seem to work. Any idea what could be wrong? I tried to reprogram limits with radio and that worked fine. I changed the sensor wire an the throttle worked for a few seconds, then shut off again. Any suggestions guys???

Hi!
New to blinky racing and have not yet put the gear on the track for the first time. Do I need the cooling fan at all? Will be racing 17.5 Tc with a D3.5 motor.

All the gear are new to me and the class so that is why I am wondering.

Motor fan - yes!!!

You'll have to contact the place you bought it from to send it back in for repair. It probably popped the fets. Thats pretty standard for plugging any speedo in backwards though.
