Hitec 7xxx series are awsome,JR 9100 & 9000 series are also awsome in the "T" version & both brands run about the same price.Just pick the model according to speed & torque you want.I run both & love both but have had to warranty many more JR brand than Hitec but they both work well & last long. The ones I have that have lasted the longest is the Hitec 5955 but that has been updated in the 7xxx series & their beter so you choose.

i just went from 1015's for steering on 2 of my vehicle's (REVO and matrix buggy) to HiTec 7955's and what a noticeable difference! the HiTec may be rated at a slower speed but all that extra torque does more than make up for it! those 1015's have now had new case's and gear's installed and have been relegated to T/B duty

2 7995TG's for $230, not too far down the screen.
I also think I have a Tower code in my e-mail if you want it.

Check this out, it for $89.99 each. They seem to be out so just ask Tower Hobbies to price match.
Cheers.

A SC8 is closer to a truggy than a buggy, so you do need the extra torque. I used JR9100T's last season and I purchased a hitec 7955 while the JR was being serviced. I will never go back to JR after using the 7955. Even thought the 9100T is rated higher in torque, the feel of the hitec is far superior. I even switched the throttle servo to hitec as well I liked the hitec so much better. I have heard good things about the futaba BLS servos but they are a very high drain on the battery. I am very happy with the hitec 7955, I cant wait for the 7950 and 7940 to be released I will be upgrading as soon as they are released. My vote gets hitec in case there was any question.

that is true about the futaba diginal servos i do have to charge my reciever pack more when using really on my throttle servo . the hitec servos dont drain as much. i know the sc8 are closer to a truggy but do u still really need 300 oz of torque i can see in monster trucks
