RCNiagara.com Announces Winter Carpet Racing 2003

The race days have been changed from Wednesdays to Sundays!!
The doors will open at 9:00AM and racing will begin at 11:00AM sharp!

The indoor carpet racing season will begin Sunday October 19th, 2003.
There are a few Sundays where the hall was booked and no racing will take place. Mark and Andy are looking into one of those Wednesdays.

The location is the Meritton Community Centre in St. Catharines, Ontario.

Once again, the season will be properly run by Mark and Andy with some great improvements over last year (if possible), to make it an even better upcoming season!

We will have a brand new timing and scoring system and are hoping to have capability to accomodate personal transponders (confirmation soon).

The classes will remain 1/12th scale (two 8 minute qualifiers and one main - 4 cell open 'brushed' motor) and Touring Car (two 5 minute qualifiers and one main 6 cell ROAR stock), WITH THE ADDITION OF A MODIFIED TOURING CAR CLASS (and possibly brushless in the modified class)!!

Beetle Cup - MUST be box stock - NO hop-ups or upgrades, Open tire. Beetle body MUST be painted ONE
solid color and MUST have decals in correct placement on the body per kit instructions. Any Radio gear,
and esc.

Losi Mini-T- Stock Motor, you can change radio gear and esc. MUST run 4 cells.

**The new Xray 1/18 micro will only be allowed in the Mod Micro class**
