Hold the spool and push the spur gear toward the front to make the belt taught on he underside and check - that's what is happening under load and will give a better indication of any interference.

Hi, I have a 2016 T4 and try to install the aluminum steering Arm but after installed, the steering ball joint will hit the belt ? So I took it out and try to see what's the difference of the plastic arm, it seem the plastic arm is sit more higher than the aluminum arm. Do you guys have this problem ? Did you guys just leave it like this or how can it be fix . Thx

It will rub if you run your belts loose. I grind the bottom of those tie rod ends flat on the bottom and it doesnt rub any longer. Slight annoyance but I actually never noticed any side affects of the belt rubbing slightly. Didnt see it until I was rebuilding my car before a race and noticed the shinny spot on the plastic.

is it bad if I raise the duel steering horn posts with 1mm shim? I think this will change the steering assemblies geometry slightly,I am not sure if this affect Handling or not.
I do think the servo travel less to full lock if I do so, which can be a good thing.

EA, I run 13.5 and 17.5 and my belts are set as loose as possible.

If you plan on running the stiffener that attaches to the top deck, you'll need to adjust that shim as well.

That's fine to do, if desired. Make sure to remove 1mm from your bump steer shims, and you'll probably want to use something less that the 6mm shim in the center mount, or the steering link will hit the top deck.

But I almost forgot the bump steer shim. Thanks for the tips!

Does anyone have any experience with the Radtec aluminium chassis?
Looking for a aluchassis, was looking at xray flex and avid, but just saw Radtec, havent heard or read anything about their products before.

Can't go wrong with Avid or Xray Flex. Those are my top 2 choices for carpet racing.

Xray flex even for the new CRC carpet? Been looking for the stiff Xray aluminum chassis for ages but can only find the flex chassis.

Yes, I ran the Avid chassis at Snowbirds and EA ran the Xray Flex chassis there. I've never really liked the solid chassis personally, but Paul made it work just fine at Stock Wars. Just comes down to personal preference I guess. I can see the solid chassis being good on the new carpet, just not my go-to.

Hi,has anyone made suspension inserting blocks just like the xray 0.5 increments ones, but in 0.25 increments,so you can ,say 2.75,or 2.25 rear toe in,so on.

ARS & PSS
What scenarios would I use each one??
And would you use them together??
And I know you don't change your oil on the PSS what about springs??
Would you run standard springs or progressive springs (or would that defeat the purpose)
