What electronics work best in the stock short course class? I am not happy with the motor or esc from the Associated SC10. What does everyone run?

Hot Short Course setup...

1. HPI Blitz - Hands down THE BEST truck!!!
2. Blitz tires, no matter what kit you use, these are the tires to have.
3. XL5 esc as it's durable and has reverse lockout. No need to worry about LiPo cutoff as you will never hit it while racing.
4. Radon motor if you can keep it cool. This motor is stupid fast but does run a bit hot. I've always ran the hpi motor up until now and I had really good luck with it but if other guys are running the Radon, You will be outrun. I hear ther TRX and LOSI motors are good for torque on technical tracks.

Man they are really opening the this class up. Can make any truck fast with being able to change so much. The best truck is whoever is the best pilot.

I AGREE WITH YOU BRYAN. BLITZ IS MY FAVORITE.
THE RADON MOTOR CAN BE EASILY MODIFIED, THOUGH, IF SOMEONE KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING (I DON'T ) THE HPI MOTOR IS PRETTY GOOD SO FAR.
HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON. ROBIN
