Ok duh, lol. I saw the old dates from the posts and figured the second page was all the current stuff. Nothing here in NC in October so I'm gonna keep my eye out.

Gas will probably be $20/gallon by October so hopefully I can find someone to ride with me, .

Everyone that I know that raced this event last year said its an awsome event. So I am definatly looking forward to it. I signed up early so I dont forget lol.

if im not mistaken there were a few 10th scale electrics that ran last year ...and i know some plan on racing this year ....
i doubt there will be a seperate class ....and there would only be a 10th scale sportsman class if there were enough entries ....i think the web site says at least 15 entries to make a class and if there arent 15 then they would run with the pro class .....if his batteries can go 30 minutes or so i dont think he would have a problem .....

Nah ther is no way his 3800 batteries could get him 30 min and at the cost of entry (not saying its too high) it just wouldnt be worth him racing in a class we know he couldnt finish. He will just have to sit this 1 out, and hope we can find him a race suited for an electric class. I plan on being there tho as Ive already signed up in truggy.

yeh man its hard to cover everyone ...you have to do what you can ....i will say they at least will have a 10th scale class which is good because alot of the big races dont have a 10th scale class .....glad your gonna make it we will see ya there ...maybe some one else here can think of a bigger race that has the standard 10th scale elec class where the heats and mains are shorter for the nimh packs ....also there is brushless and lipo ...it may get him into some bigger events ..being able to run the extended mains

morris spears of momo design works and joe ledbetter are handling all the sponsers and event coverage

My wife has an email in about doing pictures at the event. She did the pictures for the PNB in atlanta in Feb. I think she said she sent it in last night. When the PNB finally makes it into the magazine some of her pics are supposed to be in there as well. We will see tho.
