Default Air filter protection

Hi

Has anyone tried that:
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/16577
??

Is it worth buying? Does it let me drive in rain and puddles without worrying about my engine? Here in Poland we often have to compete in BIG puddles (im not sure if it's the right word. I mean a big hole with water inside ) and people often have problems caused by water in the engine, which got there by air filter.
Will that protector let me drive and not to worry about such things?

please answer asap

best regards

Most important for me is the case if you can drive in water and rain without water entering engine through air filter?
Is that outerwear fully waterproof and I can drive in puddles without any problems with engine?

hahahaha if I had any XB808 I will tell you but I not have mind yet... The reason I told you to get the right size is because I got one that was big and it works great but it is kinda of big for my XT8..

Default Air Filtration... the answer!

The ebay secret.... I found the best filter covers on Ebay..!

I've used these "Filter Covers" for years and have found that the cheaper ones I found on ebay work the best by far! They fit tighter, & don't get brittle like the Outerwears type, and they make my filters last much longer between changes. You can also scotch guard the covers for good water resistance. They are like $6.99 and have 3 styles that fit almost all filter styles/shape. They come in many colors, and trust me they are the best on the market!

I have a hard time believing its waterPROOF, as not alowing water to enter. If it won't allow water in, how will it let air in? At best I think it will only deflect the majority of the water away.

Or you can go to Tractor supply and get the same stuff for $3.99! It's called Vet wrap. It's used alot in Florida I know, I used it as well down there. Works awesome!!
