Default Picked up an Xray XT8

Plan is to go Brush-less. Does the 808 Buggy conversion kit work with the XT8?

Looking at this one.
http://www.tcmodels.net/index.php?pa...mart&Itemid=71

Any other suggestions? I saw the RCmonster one but ouch...

I had one on my x2 crt had no issues, there is another guy on here who used it on his 8t 2.0 truggy, said it was great. Can't go wrong for the price imo, if it works on the xt8. Idk if it will or not, just commenting on the conversion kit.

There wasnt any significant mechanical changes for the 2009 spec model was there? Not that i need many parts right now, but i couldnt locate a parts lost for the older model and just want to make sure anything i order can work if it is for the 2009.

There was a fair bit changed

The 09 runs a longer chassis with revised weight distribution.
Changed from top arms to links.
Went to big bore shocks and springs
Changed offset
Changed servo tray
Lightened the driveline
Went to carbon towers and plates
Got the 808 engine mount

It drove like a totally new car. Heaps more steering

You'd be best to ask RC monster about that.

If you buy the rc-monster xt8 chassis kit you wil need the front and rear center driveline for the 09 spec

that would mean you will need the 09 chassis aswell
the 09 chassis is longer than the first one. the 09 driveline will only fit the 09 chassis
