Now you can hire Masaaki as your support mechanic for races......it saids on the site.

its about 50000 yen a day for overseas races excluding hotel transport/flight and meals for him.

Eric....A problem,I purchased a carbon center shaft for my Pro 4,I put 2 packs through it and found the shaft has twisted and the carbon weave is real rough through the twist.I was running an orion 9x1 on an open tarmac track using foams.Have you heard of this problem with anyone else?I am in Australia but buy from US hobby shops all the time (steve at Speedtech)Who do I contact to try and replace it?

Gee.....I am not sure I am the only one here thinking.....$500 US a day....? For real....? That is actually CHEAP.....think about this way, get together 20-30 racers, chips in $15 to $20 each, we can hired Hirosaka (may be Masami as well) to tweak our cars ALL DAY.....I don't think any of those ppl will actually RACE that day, they just want Hirosaka to touch their cars, then signed it, and put it on EBAY and sell for $500 each....LOL.

I would think $100 per hour sounds more realiztic.....A class Support for $100 a day....all I need is 4 more friends, chip in $20 a piece, then we can have Hirosaka tested and setup our cars all day.....then, he can stay in my place, and he can sing karaokei all day for free....LOL.

Ran my pro 4 the other night, performance was pretty good but I think I overtightened the top mounting points of the shocks which bound them up. Doh.

Anyway I have a question. I stupidly overtightened the grub screw holding my pinion on and stripped it out. Anybody have some suggestions as to how I can get the pinion off the motor?

Any proper hobby-shop should stock a 'pinion-puller' tool.
I do have one that I got ages ago ... if you need a pic of it, let me know.

OK I seen one of these. It will drag the pinion off even if it is tightened down? I was never sure what this tool was for...........

ok you guys have probably already been over this topic but here goes i have built my pro 4 and had no problems with the build, the chassis had no tweak in it after the build but after one race, it had quite a bad tweak, i took it home and pulled the bottom chassis off and checked for tweak no prob there, rebuilt it with no tweak what so ever, but twist the car at the front and rear and a tweak comes in at about 3mm, twist it the other way and the tweak will go out of it
any thoughts???? two other guys at my club, are having the same problem so, its just no me
any help appreciated

I see that Paul Lemeiux put his Pro 4 in the A main at the Novak race. It would be nice to see his set up sheet. Anyone know how to get it?
