Is AE front one-way long lasting?
Thanks for the help.

This is the setup that I used on the snetterton track at Reedy Intl 2001. Maybe can be of advantage to you, is a setup with one-way, very docile and quick.
Front:
4 degree caster block.
2 degree kick up.
0 degree Toe-in.
2 degree camber.
#5 of ride height.
3 .020 of bump steer at each wheel.
No anti roll bar.
Gold spring.
50wt oil.
Piston #2
Middle hole at upper shock mount.
Camber link @ upper and inner.
Rear:
2 degree of anti squat.
2 degree toe-in.
2 degree camber.
#6 of ride height.
No anti roll bar.
Medium wheelbase.
Silver spring (maybe you can check with blue spring).
50wt oil.
Piston #2.
Middle hole at upper shock mount.
Camber link at upper and inner (move to the outside the other ball to enlarge the camber link).
Front one-way.
Tyres: Proline 1095 'BRCA' control tyre. Tire traction at your needs.
Inserts: Pit soft.
Body: PF Vectra.
If you got traction, reduce on one the amount of ride height (#4 front and #5 rear). All my problems at the Intl 2001 came from those nasty tyres and the choose of the insert (very critical).

Hi Guys
Can anyone tell me what general changes should be made to setup to incorporate a one way?
Should the car be softer all round?
Does it handle horribly whenu brake?
Also Corse R, do you reckon that setup would work on Take Off or Pitshimizu tires?
Thanks guys

I loved the car from the first day (except the Delrin diffs)
It's my carpet car and it's flying....
How about the pan car? Do you race it?

Maybe you need to investigate a little and modify, but can be valid for you as a ballpark.

rcruv- Ya, AE one-way. I've been running it since the car came out. Every 4th or 5th race night I do tear it down and do some maintenance. But, it's the same one, and I haven't had any problems....yet!!!
Indy- Brakes???? No brakes with a oneway... Well, that's not totally true. You will have to dial them out to something like 30-50%. I have a little in my car but they're for emergency purposes only. The surface you run on will determine how much you need to stiffen the suspension. Carpet, ALOT!!!! Hi-traction surface (not quite as much as carpet), a little bit more. We actually gold fronts and silver rears with a oneway. That seems to be a really good setup I have a couple oneway setups on my site or I'm sure there are a couple guys here that can help you out, too!

Thanks for your help Corse R and Tony.
Can you guys give me some advice? I'm racing indoor until April on a rubberised gymn type floor, where everyone uses Schumacher yellow mini pins. My problem is that the Losis seem to generate much more grip than the TC3s. My car seems to break away quite suddenly and the tyres only work when about 1/2 worn, whereas this is not as critical on other cars (ie HPIs and Losis).
Setup is close to standard - front 40wt, blue spring, standard shock and camber positions. rear 30wt, silver spring, standard positions. Battery forward.
Would moving the camber link to the upper inner hole help?
Help!

Is the rubberized gym floor like astro turff or is it smooth. I race on an astro turff type floor with the mini pins in back and rally blocks in front that helped my back end from hooking around along with other set up stuff let me know if it is the same type of surface and I can give yuou my set up. However I still am working on it.
