Wildfire with fiberglass parts. Extremely inexpensive.

VTA class touring car with fiberglass chassis. But still have all the aluminum parts. And as said the price would be very very attractive.

Hi All,

I'm happy to say I will soon be the owner of two D06's. I will be running them in the 13.5 and 17.5 boosted classes. Looking forward to the new kits, will keep you posted on how things go. I have been running the D05 and have enjoyed them very much, but I think VBC have levelled things up with the D06.

That is awesome! The d05 was a fantastic car, but you are right about the d06 taking the performance to the next level.

Ive been trying to tidy up the wiring on my d06 a bit.

Hey Spunky,

That's very neat, must have taken some time to do. Well done, you have given us something to shoot for. It really is a very good looking kit, and you are making it look even better!

Hi Jay,

Yes, the XRAY spurs fit, but they are offset. Serpent, Panaracer/HPI spurs are what I now use.

As VBC Racing Shop said, the Xray spurs do fit. They are offset but it's a small offset and just necessitates adjusting the pinion slightly.

I'd love to get a Panaracer spur in a 96/94/92 tooth range...anybody know where I could find one?

Cheers,
Mike

I believe that the white HPI spurs are Panaracer spur gears. We don't carry them yet in the smaller sizes, but they are available at other hobby shops.

I can confirm that the hpi spur gears that are white are panaracer spur gears. Those are the ones I buy.
