Yup, it'll be helpful to have some advice for bumpy low grip asphalt

sure. my car was on rails, CRC front end + corally diff = win!

Rear part of the car:
Motor:
I just love this new motor, the Reedy PT (mine is a 10x2), lacks down low torque which is great for pro12, and makes up for it with mid-end range torque. I lasted the last A main with it and my old battery pack only decided to take in 3300 charge

Gearing:
Was a medium sized track, I ran a 95 spur, with a 27 pinion.

Tyres:
I ran Pink corally rear tyres on the saturday qualifying. as the heat picked up I switched to some KAWADA rears which I had they just love the heat.

T-bar
Soft t-bar, with the corally spacer cut up into washers, and I didn't use the middle screw for the t-bar for more rear grip.

shock
I used the standard weight oil for the shock, but used a very soft spring to soften the rear even more.

side dampers
used soft corally side damper fluid

Front part of the car:
I'm using the CRC pro-strut front end
Tyres:
CRC pro cut Magenta fronts, work great

Camber:
1.5 degrees negative camber

Caster:
All 3 caster washers to the back

Dynamic Caster:
Use the 10 Degree block

Toe:
Slight toe out for a bit of corner entry aggression

Unfortunately we are not allowed to use tire additives in New Zealand.

Does anyone have an asphalt setup for the 12x on med. to med. high bite asphalt, with Paragon or other additive? Cool and hot track temps? Trying to get some info on what to start with at the U.S. Nationals.

ArnO- Thanks for the link, I've never seen that site before. Nice resource. Unfortunately, there is no setup listed for higher bite asphalt using traction compound. The only asphalt setup listed is for NZ where they don't allow traction compound, and the track is rated as low bite.

This is the setup I've been using. Smooth med. to high traction.

Front:
springs 20 or 18 (start the day on 18's and change to 20's by the 3rd round)
split caster
10 deg blocks
crc extra heavy lub on king pins
1.5 camber
4 mm ride height
servo flat
Double pink tires

Rear:
1.6 T-bar
30 wt shock oil
green spring
1.5 droop
crc heavy lub on side dampers (white cap)
4mm ride height
Double Pink rears

This is a stock motor setup and works well. I will be testing more next week. Hope this helps.

Budman- Thanks! That's exactly what I'm looking for. Question about the 1.5mm droop- does that mean the main chassis is 1.5mm lower at the rear than the front? Or something else?

I think he means that the rear of the main chassis lifts up 1.5mm past ride height. So I think I'm going to paved nats too... Not sure I'll be running 1/12 though. Been workin on the sedan a lot lately
